Description Experience Power on challenging jobs with the 20V MAX* XR 4.5 in. Slide Switch Small Angle Grinder with Kickback Brake. As a part of the PERFORM & PROTECT line of products, this tool is equipped with KICKBACK BREAK which engages with maximum force to stop the wheel when a pinch, stall, or bind-up is detected. This grinder is a part of the expanding 20V MAX* system and is compatible with all 20V MAX* batteries. Brushless motor requires no brush changes. Kickback Brake engages when a pinch, stall, or bind-up event is sensed and the electronic brake engages with maximum force to quickly stop the wheel, reduce the movement of the grinder and shut the grinder off. Brake stops wheel in 2 seconds or less on average Power Loss Reset prevents accidental restarts following a power disruption when the tool is left in the “on” position.
