Each model in the series is dual-rated by capacity, meaning it can safely support a range of working load limits depending on use case and certification standards. For example, the X5L02250 is rated for both 3/4 ton and 1 1/8 ton. Capacities range across the series from 3/4 to 10 US tons (approximately 3/4 to 9 metric tons).This dual-rating format is clearly marked on the hoists nameplate and test certificate. All X5 models are final assembled and load-tested in the USA and include a factory-issued certificate of test and compliance.Compact Strength, Built for Harsh EnvironmentsDesigned for demanding industrial and military applications, the X5 features a Weston-style mechanical load brake that operates without a minimum preload. The brake is self-adjusting, double pawled, and enclosed to limit contamination from dirt and debris. Fused brake discs are asbestos-free and resistant to cracking, shattering, or moisture absorption.
