Modulift Modular Spreader Beams provide the ideal solution for most requirements, combining versatility and cost-effectiveness! The Modulift system truly allows you to build, re-build and reconfigure spreader beams to match the span and capacity you need. A typical setup consists of any number of struts, the end units, the drop links and finally, shackles. We can supply shackles for you, or, if you already have the proper shackles you can simply use them, saving even more money.This is a drop link for the MOD 24 beam sizeYou need one at each end of the beam, and they work in conjunction with a MOD 24 end unit (you also need two end units per beam)The MOD 24 beam size is rated @ 24 Tons Safe Working Load (SWL) @ 14ft spanDifferent span lengths or steeper Base to Sling Angle (BSA) measurements may impact the SWL for you system–review the PDF file on the Attachments tab for more informationLastly, make sure you have proper shackles available, or plan to purchase those from us as wellThe MOD 24 beam size calls for 17t shackles on top (larger) and 12t shackles on bottom (smaller)Be sure to use bolt, nut and cotter shackles, such as Crosby G-2130 or Van Beest G-4163Slings can also be had, and we offer many types online, but can also custom build a sling to match your exact needsNeed help deciding which MOD system to go with?
