Slingmax SPXCF Single-Path Roundslings Lightweight Strength with Check-Fast SafetyThe Slingmax SPXCF Single-Path Extra Covermax Roundsling is a lightweight, high-capacity synthetic sling designed for demanding operations. Built with a K-Spec high-performance core and a rugged 2-ply Covermax jacket, these slings offer outstanding strength and durability while weighing just a fraction of traditional steel rigging. With vertical working load limits ranging from 5,000 lb to 200,000 lb, the SPXCF series is a proven choice for safe, efficient, and easy-to-handle in the field. Each sling includes the Check-Fast Inspection System with overload tell-tails, a red inner warning cover, and an optional fiber optic inspection linegiving you real-time indicators of overload or wear. The SPXCF sling weighs approximately 10% of an equivalent capacity wire rope sling, helping reduce strain, setup time, and risk of injury during rigging operations.Product range: SPXCF 500 through SPXCF 20000 (5,000 lb to 200,000 lb vertical WLL)Core material: K-Spec core yarn for strength and durabilityOuter cover: 2-ply heavy-duty bulked nylon with Covermax abrasion resistanceInspection features: Check-Fast overload indicators, red inner cover, and optional fiber optic inspection systemWeight savings: Only 10% the weight of comparable wire rope slingsStretch: Less than 1% elongation at rated capacityProof tested: 2x the rated capacityDesign factor: 5:1 safety factorRepairable: Can be professionally serviced for extended sling lifeCompliance: Meets ASME B30.9, NAVFAC P-307, and Cordage Institute standardsMade in the USA: Proudly manufactured with premium materials and expert craftsmanshipStrong, Smart, and Easy to HandleWhile not as strong as Slingmax Twin-Path slings, Single-Path slings are still extremely capable and offer major advantages in weight, safety, and handling. With their integrated inspection systems and wide capacity range, Slingmax SPXCF slings provide riggers with a reliable, lightweight alternative for tough jobs. What Size Shackle or Connector Should I Use?Slings used with fittings shall be compatible with the fittings used. The capacity shall be rated at the lower of the sling or fitting. Fitting openings shall be of the proper shape and size to assure that the sling will seat properly. In other words, the diameters of most commercially available hardware are sufficient for use with a Single-Path sling of equal capacity. For many customers, this could mean upgrading to alloy shackles, or wide body shackles to achieve the Working Load Limit (WLL) required.See chart below for full hardware selection and bending radius considerations.
